#40: Enjoy some disc golf at Wheeler Park this weekend!

 

Visit the 18 hole disc-golf course in Geneva's Wheeler park!

Another fun activity provided by our superior Geneva Park District! Bring your Frisbee or flying disc of choice and challenge yourself/your friends to a friendly game of disc golf! Located in Wheeler Park, the course runs right along Rt 31. If you park in the very northern parking lot off of Rt 31, you can jump right out of your car and be playing within 2 minutes!

#38: Visit the St.Peter’s barn sale today and tomorrow!

At the Kane County Fairgrounds on Randall Road! The thrill of the hunt is in full force at this perennial event. There is truly something for everyone. If you absolutely cannot manage to find a treasure to take home, don’t leave empty handed… just visit the bake sale area instead.

#36: Plan on attending the Kite Festival at Geneva’s Peck Farm this weekend!

 

On Saturday, the 17th, Geneva Park District will host their first Kite Festival at the ball fields on Peck Road! The first 200 kids will receive a free paper kite to color! Join your fellow kite enthusiasts from 11 am until 4 pm, and cross your fingers for a windy day!

Join the Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley for a fabulous weekend!

The 5th annual Treasures of the Tri-Cities this weekend! Saturday the 17th features a coach tour that leaves from Batavia and takes a viewer’s tour of some of the fabulous limestone buildings in our area. At the end of the day, a wine & cheese party will be hosted in one of the most charming limestone cottages in our area, from 4:30-6:30. DO NOT MISS IT!

Sunday the 18th is a guided tour of 5 charming river stone cottages in the area! If you are a fan of historic landmarks, amazing architecture, or superb cottages, make sure you call and get your tickets now. Enjoy!

#23: Cheer on the bikers tomorrow…. downtown Geneva!

Our darling little downtown will be host to literally thousands of visitors tomorrow when the International Cycling Classic & Superweek Pro tour arrives to race through Geneva! It's the talk of the town among all those bikers who are "in the know."
