#22: Stroll through the Classic Car show tonight….corner of James & 4th St!

It's cheap and it's fun!! Take yourself and the kids to see the classics from around town…. there are a lot of cool cars in every shape and size, and perhaps the kids will get a kick out of seeing a vehicle that has a cigarette lighter, an ashtray, windows you have to roll up on your own, and NO DVD PLAYER in the back…. enjoy!!

With the fantastic weather we are having, today would be a great day to sign up for a few lessons from Geneva Kayak! It doesn't get any better than that….. a great workout, an up-front-and-personal view of the banks of the beautiful Fox River, and support of a local small business! Give it a try!

starting at 8 am today, you can take yourself and your family to listen to same amazing and talented folks competing at this music competition. A decades old tradition for the Saturday of Swedish Days, this competition is now in its' 40th year!!On a nice day, the music can be heard from as far away as downtown Geneva!!! Many folks who have lived here for years and years have never ventured out to witness this amazing event. I am confident in stating that I believe it is an event that will be enjoyed by any and all who attend!

Please remember to patronize the locals this week! These are the small business owners who donate to our fun fairs and our fashion shows, who bring tourists into our town to spend money, who volunteer at our wonderful festivals all year round! They need our support, in rain and shine!! Check out the sidewalk sales and the food booths, and all the special offerings that are all about town…. I am certain there is something for everyone, even those of you who have "seen it all"….
